About Us

Woodbox is an audio/visual production team based in Bristol, UK, made up of musicians, videographers and sound engineers. Born of a shared passion for music, we created Woodbox to document and celebrate the vast wealth and diversity of independent artistry in our local scene.

What started as an invite to photograph the Bristol Summer Series in 2019 quickly snowballed into a much bigger idea. The 4 of us have been involved in Bristol's music scene at various levels for a number of years - in DIY bands, co-organising local festival Inglefest, live/studio production, gig photography and music videography. Having had the privilege of witnessing and working with countless incredible bands and artists at all levels, we made it our goal to create an all-encompassing production house to help give something back to our scene and community that we love.

During 2020, we hand-built our custom studio facility that has transformed into a blank canvas for our fellow artists - hosting local bands for Woodbox Live sessions, providing studio recording, as well as photography and video shoots alike.

We have been working passionately to bring an exciting new platform to Bristol, showcasing the vast array of artistry at all of our fingertips. As we continue to grow, we look forward to working with artists from across the board, offering a platform for discovery as well as an all-encompassing solution for any multimedia requirements.
